One thing I would change about my writing

One thing that I would change about my writing is make it more unique, or, infuse my ‘voice’ within it so that when people read it, it’s as if they’re listening to me telling them a story, or ‘speaking’ my writing to them in person.

What is an author?

I associate an author, and what specifically they "are", with a person who utilizes words to convey an intended idea, a wordsmith of sorts who doesn’t necessarily use new and improved words or grammar but instead uses a unique combination of elements such as these to make a reader think a certain thought.
